3 Stages – 172km – 2774m ascent
The scenic Waterberg plays host to the second edition of the Liberty Waterberg Encounter. A delightful three stage mountain bike tour which links the upper market bush lodge of Sondela with Element Private Golf Estate in a memorable 172km journey over the some of the best mountain-biking terrain in the north of the country.
Riders are only allowed to enter in teams of two. Teams register in one of three different categories that include Men, Ladies and Mixed. The minimum age of participation is 18 on race day. The riders in a team must stay together at all times during the race.
The entry package per team includes a Ftech branded cycling jersey, event branded jacket and 5 Star meals, but excludes accommodation. Sufficient accommodation is available at Sondela and Elements.
